The series »Trashware« demonstrates the ability how ceramic slip cast can reproduce surface details.
Construction waste contains a big variety of materials. Containers are located all over Vienna’s streets, full of trash with interesting, different textures. Using the delicate and valuable material porcelain to reproduce trash, sets a material-based contrast.
The series provokes people to take a closer look at a seemingly flat surface – therefore, exploring fine details in material. Through illuminating the fine porcelain walls, the objects empathize even more on the structure.
